The Promises of God

 The Promises of God

Of all Your promises how could I forget You?
I hear You say You’ll never leave me
I see You with me too
Of all the times I cried
You where still there

For all Your promises how could I forget You?

All Your promises hold true

For You are faithful now

And You were faithful then

I know You’ll see this through till the end

When darkness comes to steal my hope

Your promises hold true

Of all Your promises how could I forget You?

For Your faithfulness never ends

When everything is stripped away

Your promises remain

When I wait and wait in darkness

I remember Your faithfulness

You were faithful then

So You’ll be faithful now

For all Your promises how could I forget You?

All Your promises hold true

For You are faithful now

And You were faithful then

I know You’ll see this through till the end

When darkness comes to steal my hope

Your promises hold true

Of all Your promises how could I forget You?

I hear You say You’ll never leave me

I see You with me too

Of all the times I cried

You where still there

You remind me of Your love by Your faithfulness

Now I know I shall never forget You

For You never forget me

People may break their promises but You never break Yours

Though I wait in darkness I know You are there

Because of Your promises

Monday

Poem

Dear God. I need You like I
need the sun to rise every day;
I need You like I need the moon
and the stars to. shine at night.
leneed You like the tides need
the moon. I need You like the
trees need air. I need You like I.
need air to breath. You are my
breath, You give me life. I miss
You; like a tree needs
sunlight, I need My Light soon
too. You are love, that I know because
You told me so. I love You. You
loved me first, how could I forget?

You are Saved through Christ

John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only begotten son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

I have great news for you today, we are made right with God through the blood of Christ. Even if you have messed up or have backslided recently God still loves you. He’ll always love you. When we repent we can be confident that He will forgive us of our mistake(s) instantly because our sins are paid for already. Jesus paid for all our sins.

I recently felt like I messed up greatly, and I did. But, I made the mistake out of weakness and lack of understanding. Once I openly, whole heartedly repented and acknowledged my weakenss, the Lord showed me His compassion.

The Bible states in Hebrews 4:15, “for we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses, but one who, in every respect, has been tempted as we are.” God is not unempathetic to our struggles and weaknesses. He understands and knows exactly who each of us are. He made you and me. He always loves you so you do not have to be afraid or doubtful of His love.
